Satellite Crop Monitoring
Introduction to Satellite Monitoring
Satellite imagery is an easy and cost effective method of monitoring your crop for management decision. We use 10m x 10m resolution satellite imagery for our basic services where crop health is monitored. We are then able to use this imagery to produce zoning maps which can be used for, not only for problem identification, but also integration into management practices. This includes zonal sampling, variable rate fertilizer application and selective harvesting.
By dividing the block into separate zones, we can help you make the right management decisions. You simply define the number of zones you require and we will send you all the maps, including digital files for you to load onto Google Earth for further measurements.
Zone NDVI Time Series
We can give you additional insight into any area by deriving a NDVI time series. With this, an area performance can be assessed over time.
